However, complying with export control regulations and managing the wide variety of export tasks and documentation can be a major challenge. Armin Sonnauer, General Manager, MIC Customs Solution. Armin is the general manager of MIC Customs Solution is a leading provider for global customs and trade compliance software's regional office for the Asian-Pacific market. The office was originally established in 2016 for supporting customers, but soon after its launch additional functions like development and sales support followed. Armin started his career as an IT professional, in which he held operational and managerial roles in the functions of development, support, project- and product management. Besides his IT knowledge he has acquired 15+ years of experience in customs and international trade, thereof 8+ years of experience in the region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
