Geoffrey Parish is the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, leading commercial diplomacy, trade counseling, and U.S. investment promotion.
Previously, he served as Chief Commercial Consul at the U.S. Consulate Hong Kong & Macau and Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy Delhi, overseeing operations across five South Asia markets. His prior assignments were in Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Boston.
Before joining the U.S. Commercial Service, Geoffrey worked in Thailand as Regional Business Development Director for Bentoli and Principal Consultant at Weben Partners. He was also a USAID Foreign Service Officer, serving in Bangkok, Hanoi, and Washington. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lithuania.
Geoffrey holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. from Emerson College, and studied at Vesalius College, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
