The History of Arribas Brothers Inc. Co.
Subsidiary Operation: Trend Art Logistics Co., Ltd.

The art of glass cutting originated with the Egyptians in approximately 1500 BC.Later the Romans introduced the ancient art form to Europe, where it flourished and endured through the ages.

Despite technological advances, the ancient techniques and tools used by the glass cutter pioneers, such as copper and diamond impregnated wheels, are still utilized by modern day glass cutters. Even the custom of passing the craft from Father to Son still prevails, a custom evident at Arribas Brothers. Immersed in the rich culture of their Spanish home town of La Coruña, Spain. Young brothers Thomas, Alfonso and Manuel Arribas mastered the 100 year old Family business in the ancient techniques of Blowing and Cutting by their fathers and grandfathers.

Upon the brother's completion of their apprenticeships under master artisans, the Spanish Government quickly recognized their unique talents. Subsequently, the brothers were chosen by the Spanish Cultural Ministry to represent Spain at the New York World’s Fair in 1964, where the Arribas Brothers first met Mr. Walt Disney who invited them to join Disneyland.

The Arribas Brothers first affiliation with Disney began in 1967, where they opened a Shop and Glass Studio inside the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Anaheim California. These humble beginnings molded and shaped Arribas Operations into 19 Disney park locations around the world. Since then Arribas Brothers has expanded it’s expertise from glass cutting, to glass blowing, glass sculpting to Sand Carving Disney Characters on Drinking Glassware, 3D Laser Engraving inside Crystal, to Laser engraving Disney Characters on Wooden, Stainless Steel products.

Today Arribas Brothers employs master artisans from countries such as Spain, United States, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Lithuania, Argentina, Japan, Ireland and Peru. In addition, the company retails a wide variety of unique gift items, imported from Europe including Swarovski Crystal, Swarovski Crystalized Jewelry, and Swarovski Crystalized Figurines, Lladro and Armani Sculptures.

In 2017 Arribas Brothers decided to expand it’s operations into Thailand under the protection and promotion of the Thai-American Amity Treaty, in setting up product sourcing logistics operation and a production facility for Disney Character Sand Carved Glassware, Stainless Steel and Wooden products.
